The Google Android app uses the simplest of designs, and the interface is straightforward, attributes that make it the ideal security app. It uses popup windows, and you’ll need to grant the permission for it to work. After installation, the app will prompt you to create your preferred unlock pattern or use the alternative PIN code protection. The relatable interface and design make it worth of leading mobile security application. This category deserves a straight 4.6/5.

The most crucial reason why I’ll always have the app installed on any of my Android devices is the fact that it offers me the overall privacy protection. Some of the common features include the Video and Photos Vault, App Lock, Intruder Selfie, Notification Lock, Fingerprint Lock, Fake Cover, Safety Reminder Tools, Themes, and many additional forms of privacy protection. With all these, I don’t have to worry about my private photo albums and secret videos being deleted or seen by the wrong persons. I also don’t need to worry whenever my friends borrow my gadget to play games.

Getting the latest version, you’ll get to enjoy enhancements such as performance optimization and some bug fixes. The app doesn’t offer in-app purchases, so you can just rely on the updates after the free installation.

One setback of the app, however, is that it only exists as an Android app and doesn’t have its iOS version for users of Apple devices. Fortunately, it covers a wide range of Android devices as it requires version 2.2 and up. Notably, the security tool is lightweight, and the size of the app’s file is nothing above 3 MBs. Here, the app gets a 4.5/5.

Ease of Use

The app is quite relatable, and the interface is quite straightforward. I was able to navigate through the app and choose my preferred settings moments after installing. Once you’re done setting up a security question, the Android mobile app will identify all the applications with privacy issues.

Moreover, the lightweight app works on my device without any lags. It has also never crashed on me. I only have a problem with the fact that it protects the photos in my gallery but doesn’t do the same to the file manager. The score of this section is 4.8/5.
